Missing San Juan, Puerto Rico
When we landed, we were so tired that we actually took that day to rest.
Then we went to El Yunque Rainforest the next day. Being in the city all the time, I definitely appreciated being surrounded by all the trees & creatures. It's just refreshing.
El Yunque Forest wearing a skirt because why not. Lol.
On the 3rd day, we decided to wake up early and head to the beach before our trip to Castillo del Morro. We were tanning for about 4 hours and maybe we shouldn't have. I used to never get too tanned or burnt but I guess the Puerto Rican sun is a bit more aggressive. I got tanned about 7 shades darker & burnt. I was red for days & was still peeling after 3 weeks after vacation. I will forever have these tanlines !
Anyway, these photos were taken right by the historic castle. It's such a gorgeous place!
Our 3rd day was going fine and then we decided to get on the trolley that you can ride around in San Juan. At the last stop, the driver said it's the last stop and told us to get off. This j**k kept some passengers on the trolley but left us out. Not cool! We were forced to figure out how to get back to our rented car. We walked about 30 minutes but it was okay. We got to really see Old San Juan by walking.

I wish I took more photos with our DSLR camera but mostly all our photos were taken with our phones. We were just too excited to be in Puerto Rico, just looking around & relaxing that we didn't think of documenting a whole lot of our trip.
