Vintage Ellesse Bomber Jacket

I'm one of those people who doesn't care about luxury brands enough to purchase them. Not that I dislike them, I just don't think it defines my style. It could be because my bank accounts are in the below average class in America. It's easy to make a dollar but it's so difficult to hold on to it. True story! Since fashion can get so expensive, thrift stores save my wallet & my closet!

This vintage Ellesse silk bomber jacket is one of my favorite thrift store finds. See I live a block from a Goodwill store and I visit the store every Sunday just to see what they have. This jacket was purchased in 2009 and it stayed in my closet. I honestly thought this jacket was too loud because my style was very minimal then. The beauty about thrift stores is that you can explore different styles and not feel bad about spending the cash.
This right here is the best $7 I ever spent. YES! For $7, I have something that is currently trendy and a legit vintage piece. Also if you haven't noticed, Ellesse brand is making a come back.

With this outfit, I really wanted to highlight the colors and details on this jacket. An easy way to do that is to wear all black. Bomber jackets are usually worn dressed down so I dressed it up with a slip dress & some strappy platform heels.
