Quilted Comfort
I've always struggled with how I looked growing up and it felt like there were no solutions. It was a really dark stage in my life that nobody really knew (well, until now). It really took a toll on my everyday life decisions when I didn't redirect my thoughts to more positive & uplifting things.
I'm no expert but here are some things I usually think of when I have my "episodes":
- God loves me & I am blessed
- Family, my boyfriend & REAL friends love me
- I'm healthy & a functioning member of society (lol)
- There are far more important things in life than just being popular, beautiful or "perfect"
Here are things you can do to focus on things that matter"
Do share your opinions & tips :)
- Help someone who else is less fortunate than you are
- Focus on things you like about yourself
- Master a skill you already know how to do
- Read self-improvement books, just books in general
- Workout once in a while (occasional planks help a whole lot)
