Always Grateful
Thanksgiving just passed and I figure I tell you guys what I'm thankful for this year. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for every single day I wake up. I'm alive & healthy and I have a job that provides, I can say I'm blessed.
- First thing, I started blogging to give my jewelry line a personality. I didn't expect to have a good response from all of you and for that I THANK YOU! It opened doors for so many opportunities to meet great people.
- Gotta give a shout out to my REAL FRIENDS, too. I've lost quite a bit of "friends" when I started my blogging journey. It happens, you win some, you lose some. I'm thankful for the ones who stuck around me through my sassiness.
- Gettting my own place has been one of my goals and in June, I actually got it, thanks to my day job! Living alone is a full time job in itself but it's so fulfilling coming home knowing I support myself. I love lounging and just not having to mind who is around me. I'm a very laid back person so living by myself is just right for me.
- Meeting a lot of like minded people whether it's in fashion or arts or music. They all inspire me to be better and to venture out to other things. I've always been a bit socially awkward and I tend to be painfully shy but I made it my business this year to snap out of that. In this career of choice, networking is key. I was able to collaborate with so many talented people and I'm excited about having new friends!

These photos were taken after an event Micaela & I went to called The Glam Room in New York. It was a fun event full of women in the fashion and beauty business. This photo of us was taken by a random guy we asked on the street. Only in New York would a random guy go in with taking tons of photos, lol!
